I am donating this painting for the I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation event at Newport on the Levee. Since several women in my family have been affected by breast cancer, this is an important cause for me. Here is the press release for the event:

Friday, October 8, 2010, StoneBrook Winery and Art On The Levee Gallery join forces for one great cause! Ladies Night Wine Tasting & Art Review will take place at the Newport Levee, on the Riverwalk level (across from AMC ticket booth) from 5pm-10pm. Free admission, complimentary appetizers, music by Tim Collins, raffle of local artists artwork, 15% discount with case purchase. 10% of all sales go to I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation.
I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation supports Tri-State women of all ages as they face the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. All the proceeds from The Ladies Night Wine Tasting & Art Review will help I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation continue its programs and services in our local community.
